LHS Students take on Real World Learning Project for Lollipop Carriages

I’m very proud to share this playlist with you today. It represents a body of work that was started at the very end of last year, with a two-day downtown video shoot, and culminated with post production completed in the first nine weeks of this school year. Robert Mumme, Juan Romero, Sarah Harding and I took on a real world learning project to produce commercials for Lollypop Carriage company, a horse-drawn carriage company that caters to tourism in the downtown San Antonio area. The company also does special occasion rides at events such as our Prom last year.

This playlist features 5 of the 6 commercials we set out to  produce for Francine “Fran” Dalros, owner/operator of Lollypop Carriage Co. In the next few days, I will add an English version of the ‘Old to New’ commercial, as well as a Spanish/English title called “Princess on a Swing” that will be completed in the next few week or so.

Please take a look at these, my students and I are very proud of the end results. They are all approximately 60 seconds in length.

Thanks so much for your time and support!
