Vote Lytle High School in national Acer computer contest - only nominee from state of Texas!!

Thanks to the persistence one of our LHS students, senior Travis Lowe, we entered a contest back in March and…good news! Lytle High School’s video entry was selected as one of the top 10 in the U.S.! Now, to win $15,000 in computers for my students, we need to get the most votes, so we need your help.

Here’s how:
1.)    Vote and ask all your students to vote by going to http://tinyurl.com/AcerClassroomMakeover   You get one vote per email address, so vote with all your addresses, please! These email addresses won’t be used for spam by Acer, so students can use their Lytle ISD Google Drive email addresses to vote as well. Please have your students and their families vote!
2.)    We are the only Texas school in this contest, so please ask your social media contacts to show their support for Texas schools and help us get votes! I’ve provided a small picture file that you can upload to FaceBook, LinkedIn, Edmodo, or other site. Ask your friends and contacts to vote, and repost the picture to show their support for Texas schools. Mrs. Conover has already asked a teacher friend at Antonian High School to help, and she had all her classes vote as well as NHS members. (See the pic Antonian sent below — very cool!)

I hope you’ll take the time to vote. It take just seconds, but you could be putting equipment in our students hands that will help them learn the skills they need for success in life after High School!

You all have my sincere thanks for your time and support!
