First Grade students and students from the high school, National Honor society, Student Council and HS Cheerleaders, collaborated to brainstorm ways to make a difference in the world and give back. The first grade students observed International Dot Day in which they learned many ways to make a difference. The High School students, led by Mrs. Stetz, researched this project prior to visiting with the first grade students. Each student met with a small group of first graders and facilitated a conversation and made a chart of the varied ways they can make a difference in the lives of less fortunate children. There were some great conversations and a learning experience for both primary students and high school students.
