On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, the girls powerlifting team traveled to compete at a Meet in Natalia.
- 1st Place in 123: Brianna Paredes
- 1st Place in 97: Mya Villarreal
- 3rd Place in 114: Leah Mendoza
- 3rd Place in 242: Katelyn Stech

For a few of the novice lifters, this was their last Meet of the season. They made personal records in a variety of lifts and are beginning to train for next season. The others will return to Natalia on February 14, 2024, for the Last Regional Qualifier Meet hoping to earn a spot at Regionals.
There WILL NOT be a Meet on February 2, 2024 at TSS. That Meet has been dropped. Meets will only be on Wednesdays from now on in Natalia until the end of the season.
The next Meet is a boys-only meet in Natalia on Wednesday February 7, 2024. A full team of 12 boys will travel to compete beginning at 5:30pm. Hope to see you there! Go Pirates!
