On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, a team of 12 boys traveled to compete in Natalia for the last Meet before the Regional Qualifiers. Here are the results from that Meet:

Again, there were many new lifters competing at the Meet. They gave their all, and we saw many Personal Records! They are already gearing up for next season with huge goals in mind.
This coming Wednesday, February 14, 20204, a full team of experienced lifters will compete at the Last Girl Qualifiers (LGQ) in Natalia. If you are unfamiliar with powerlifting, a last qualifier Meet is a lifter's last shot at making it to Regionals. For girls to qualify for Regionals, you must be in the Top 12 ranking or hit a total weight. As of right now, there are 3 girls who automatically qualified based on total weight lifted and punched their ticket to Regionals: Mya Villarreal, Brianna Paredes, and Nayelli Pacheco!
On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, a full team of experienced lifters compete at the Last Boy Qualifiers (LBQ) in Natalia. Just like the girl qualifiers, this is the last shot for boys to give their all and hopefully earn a spot for Regionals! Right now, a few boys are projected to make it to Regionals, but unlike girl qualifiers, boys don't get to automatically qualify based on total weight lifted; they must earn a Top 12 ranking.
