Lytle School Counselors

National School Counseling Week was observed February 5-9 this year to celebrate the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve success in school and plan for their future. Here are some comments the Lytle staff had for our wonderful counselors:

Elizabeth Stewart, High School Principal:

Our counselors are truly the heart of our district! Thank you, Ladies, for all that you do!

Dr. Dustin Breithaupt, Assistant Superintendent:

These "fab 5" help support our students at a time when addressing mental health has never been more important.... and they do it with a smile and heart!  Huge kudos to these 5 talented counselors!

Paula Campa, Elementary School Attendance Clerk:

They are all great!  Love working with Samantha too! But hands down, Lorena is the Best!😍

Michelle Carroll Smith, Superintendent:

Thank you to these amazing people who do so much behind the scenes for our Pirates!

Shavan Galindo, Primary School Principal:

Lytle ISD is blessed to have all these ladies! Thanks for all y'all do for all our Pirates!🫶

Laura Uribe-Center, Human Resources Director:

“I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the warmth and care you bring to our Lytle ISD campuses. Your dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of students, teachers, and families are truly remarkable. You create a nurturing environment where everyone feels valued and supported, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

Your empathy and genuine concern shine through in every interaction, demonstrating that you are not just counselors, but also trusted confidantes and advocates for all. Whether you're meeting with one student or several students during guidance classes, collaborating with teachers and parents, or simply lending a caring ear, your efforts make a world of difference in fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity.

Your positive impact extends far beyond your office walls, leaving a lasting impression on the heart♥ and minds of those you touch. Your presence is a constant source of kindness, wisdom, and encouragement, enriching the fabric of Lytle ISD. We are truly blessed to have such exceptional individuals guiding us.

Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to Lytle ISD.”
