Lytle Baseball kicked off the season yesterday afternoon, February 19, 2024, at Holy Cross. The Pirates return 10 lettermen from last year's team and 8 starters. The future looks bright for Pirate Baseball which fields only 1 Senior.

In the Varsity game, the Pirates scored 7 runs on 10 hits. The starting pitcher was Junior Jair Flores. After 4 quality innings, Jair was relieved by Junior Colin Wood. The catcher was Freshman Mason Hill. This was an action-packed game with 4 lead changes. In the end, we must tip our hats to Holy Cross.

Game Highlights:

  • Toby Davila was 3 for 3 with 2 RBI's, a walk and a run scored.
  • Jair Flores was 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored with 1 RBI.

Junior Varsity:
