The Varsity baseball team played in the Marion Tournament this past weekend, February 23-24, 2024. The Pirates finished in 2nd place. After a 2 - 1 record through Pool play, Lytle was in a 3-way tie for 1st place in their pool. Since the pitching staff struck out the most batters in the pool, they got the number 1 seed and played in the championship game.
Overall, I was really pleased with our defense throughout the tournament. Your Pirates finished 2 - 2 overall and represented Lytle with class.
