Pirate baseball travelled to Brackettville on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, for a non-district ballgame. The Tigers played well and sent us home early, taking advantage of 11 walks and 2 errors by our pitching staff and defense.
Highlights: Weston Jackson hit his 1st homerun of his High School career with a solo shot to lead off the 3rd inning. Not to be outdone, Mason Hill hit his 1st homerun of his High School career with a 2-run blast later in the 3rd inning.
The Pirates play next in the Kenedy Tournament February 29 - March 2, 2024, and at Marion on March 1, 2024.
