Lytle Independent School District

The Junior High Lady Pirate Track & Field team traveled to Dilley, TX to participate in their final Meet this short track season on Thursday, March 21, 2024. The girls have put in a lot of early mornings, and gained tons of experience, even with the limited amount of Meets this year, and this was a culmination of all that energy, effort, enthusiasm, and talent that they have been putting on display this past month. The girls battled tough teams throughout the night and there were some Personal Records set and new ambitions to look forward to for sure! 

Highlights: 
With not much background and experience, these Seventh Grade girls came out and put on a great showing, finishing in 3rd place overall. Not looking to be outdone, the Eighth Grade girls would come out and claim 2nd place in this year's District Meet!
