The Lytle Varsity baseball team lost to Hondo on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Hondo. The hits were hard to come by, but the defense really showed up. There were outstanding catches by Weston Jackson and Devin Cordova and tough defensive plays by Toby Davila and Juan Patlan. Jair Flores scattered 8 hits and pitched well. Jair Flores and Damien Barco were both 1 for 3 at the plate.

The Pirates will host Crystal City tonight in Lytle. Junior Varsity plays at 4:30 pm and Varsity plays at 7 pm.
