The Lady Pirate Track team traveled to Natalia on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, to participate in the Natalia 28-3A District Meet.
The Varsity Girls are very young; one Senior, one Junior, four Sophomores, and two Freshman, and few in numbers, but they battled to a 3rd place finish with only 8 members. There are 17 events, and we were only entered in 7 but managed to win 6 of those and send 6 young ladies on to the 27/28 Area Meet to be held in Jourdanton next Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
The Junior Varsity girls also finished 3rd and will be looked to fill in those missing spots on Varsity. We hope to have a full team next year and battle for that District championship again.
