Last week, April 8, 2024, the Junior High Pirates loaded up and traveled into Charlotte, TX for another fun evening of baseball! Due to Charlotte's limited numbers, the Lytle boys were forced to combine teams and play together as one unit rather than just their respected Seventh and Eighth Grade teams. However, that did not seem to affect the boys, as they came into this game focused and ready to play. It was a tough weather day with strong winds, but the boys remained cool, calm, and collected & played good team defense backing up the pitching of Jayden Rios (7th) & Easton Davila (8th).
Offensively, the boys remained patient and waited for any pitches that were within their strike zone and made the most of their opportunities to get on base. Once again, they used smart base running to move around and put runs up on the board.
